HATLAPA has extended its range of equipment for the offshore industry via a licence and co-operation agreement with the Norwegian company Flowsafe, signed on 14th July 2009.
Flowsafe is located in the heart of the Norwegian offshore industry and has more than 30 years experience supplying products to offshore vessels.
HATLAPA will further develop, market and produce products with Flowsafe. Initially, HATLAPA will expand its product range with stern rollers and towing pins, explained Joerg Tollmien, joint-Managing Director of HATLAPA: ”Having established ourselves over the last few years with large winches for the offshore industry, we now intend to expand our product range and we have the necessary resource for this now in Uetersen.”
There are already some projects for these new products, often combined with towing winches from Uetersen. Uwe Nickschat, HATLAPA’s offshore expert is optimistic: “We are hoping to secure orders for these new products later this year.”
Currently HATLAPA’s product range consists of deck machinery, steering gear, compressors, towing winches, work winches, stern rollers and towing pins.
