Deck Machinery for ROV-handling
HATLAPA is the sole supplier of containerised deck machinery able to offer mobile operations on different vessels. These HATLAPA-winches have been designed as mobile winches to serve the geological research with ROVs for water depths of up to 6.000m.
The complete winch is accommodated in a special container suitable for sea transports. Therefore, the equipment can be shipped world-wide for use on various research vessels. The energy supply for the ROV and transfer of data and video signals is effected by special cables (umbilical) by means of a slip ring transmitter which is flanged into the bearing stool side drum nave.
Stepless, frequency inverter controlled winches with oil-cooled electric motors and the patented HATLAPA spooling device serve spooling of cables in a careful manner, reducing abrasion. With the patented spooling device spooling faults are automatically compensated by an electronically controlled speed corre gear.
Cable pulls and speeds are permanently monitored by corresponding measuring devices.
Together with the winch, a control cabinet, motor cooling unit and a local winch control panel are also accommodated in the container.
