One year ago the starting air compressor section of HKSE (Hamworthy KSE) was taken over by HATLAPA.
Since then HATLAPA has been operating their subsidiary company HATLAPA Hamworthy Marine Compressors Ltd. in Poole, U.K. 23 members of staff were taken over from HKSE for the subsidiary office, thus the complete service for the whole operative fleet having Hamworthy compressors on board can be offered. About 4000 ships are managed on the technical and commercial side from Poole.
The complete stock of spare parts has moved meanwhile to the headquarter of HATLAPA near Hamburg, from where spare parts are supplied around the world for all their products of winches, steering gear, and compressors.
The spare parts programme has also been successfully integrated into the existing logistic system, thereby achieving the central purchase and production of spare parts. The relevant offices and equipment are completely netted guaranteeing competent service.
